SUMMARY:50th Anniversary Elk Basin Cross Country
DESCRIPTION:BMC’s World Famous 50 years of Elk Basin Cross Country racing returns once again\, and is part of the 406XC series. Rider athletes know to expect a challenging course consisting of miles of single track\, rocks\, sagebrush\, hill climbs\, descents\, ascents\, side hills\, sand sections\, rocky runs\, root ways\, timber limb dodging\, a few natural jumps and everything in between that requires top-notch endurance for both the rider and the bike. Elk Basin outside of Belfry Montana is considered high desert Badlands terrain and is no walk in the park by any means. \n\n\n\nThe Competition Course: The full course A/B course will be approximately 25 miles to complete a single lap and course design changes each year to keep the event ride dynamic and ever-changing. Youth Classes\, Women and Open C race Saturday; and although not as difficult or as long a course\, still challenges the kids and beginners and they are just as enjoyable to watch. A and B classes race Sunday on the big course. \n\n\n\nFans and riders typically make it a whole weekend and camp\, with a Pre-Ride Fun Run on the main course after Saturday’s races\, yarn-telling around the evening campfires and the main Events starting each morning. SUMMARY:4-Hour Marathon Cross Country
DESCRIPTION:The BMC Four Hour Marathon Cross Country Marathon is exactly what it sounds like … a non-stop four hour endurance race with rider teams of two\, with each rider completing two laps before the rider change.\n\n \n\nThe Four-hour marathon race currently takes advantage of a large portion of the 1\,421 acre space using the Motocross Track\, the Enduro cross Track and miles of wild bad lands terrain to hold a challenging race for the pros and an appropriate version for youth riders.\n\n \n\nIn addition to sagebrush side-hilling\, single tracks\, deep coulees\, winding uphill shots\, wide sweepers\, snaking-through-the-trees lines\, and rocky rooty sections\, this cross country course is a great ride. Competitors pull the trigger and spectators enjoy a family picnic style day\, with wide a variety of viewing locations at an awesome Autumn BMC moto event.\n\n \n\nCompetitor Information\nDay of sign up only\n6:15 AM Gates Open Day of\n9:30 AM Parade Lap\n10:00 AM Race Starts\nEntry Fee at the Main Gate\n\n \n\nAdults $15\, Kids 10 and under Free with paid adult.\n\n \n\nJust a couple reminders:\n*Any kind of self propelled bicycle\, tri-cycle\, scooter\, hoover board or one wheeler are not allowed during events\n*Dogs MUST on a leash at ALL times!\n*NO campfires allowed.:\n*Please leave the pit bikes at home; we do not allow any pit riding\, only from pit to the hill and back.\n*To ensure we all have a great experience\, we have a quiet time from 11PM.\n*No firearms or fireworks allowed on club grounds\n\n \n\nParking\, Food\, Beverage and Spectators\n\n \n\nFamily picnics are encouraged. Bring your lawn chairs\, canopies\, tailgates and other outdoor supplies for a wonderful day of spectating. Camping is available as well as local Billings Lodging. Gas and quick mart supplies are a few miles away. No pets\, no campfires\, no fireworks\, no firearms.
