BMC’s Outstanding Member of the Year 2015
Co-Awarded to Bob Whitmer & Pat Whitmer

wp-2016-Member-Of-Year-Bob-Pat-Whitmer-320Each year the BMC Board of Directors selects a member of the club that goes above and beyond for the club. The recipient is presented with a 4 foot high traveling trophy, which is engraved with their name along with all names of the previous award recipients going back to 1979. In special cases, two members are selected.

In 2015, members Bob Whitmer and Pat Whitmer were co-awarded the highest honor of the club. Bob Whitmer’s Club support is always dedicated, but he was instrumental in the complete overhaul of the Club’s Motocross track (dirt work, watering system, event promotion, logistics, team communication, first Loretta Lynn effort) while also serving on the board and managing sound production at events including the Great American Hill Climb. Pat Whitmer, also a historically-dedicated member has revamped the Clubs communication system and marketing vehicles including the website, Facebook, digital advertising, radio voice, event voice, sound manager, handbook, operation documents, while also serving on the Board of Directors.




Lady of the Year 2015: Annie Hammond

Annie Hammond BillingsAnnie Hammond has been key in the BMC gate operations for all events. As times and crowds change, hammond manages new gate procedures that are key to events and the club.

Hammond says: “It takes all of our wonderful members hard work, to make this club continue its great heritage. This is for all our hard core people at the gates: Linda Molyneaux, Cindy Kramer, Tamie Nivens and all the others that work so hard. You are all spectacular!!! I’m blessed to know you. (Especially Wade Hammond , the wind beneath my wings).”

American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee


Billings American Legion Baseball announced its Hall of Fame inductees for 2015, and one of BMC’s senior members Darrell Devitt is one of them, for his talented pitching career that took him to the edge of Pro baseball. Devitt has been a very active and key participant with Club operations and events.
